OUR LOCATION
In the beautiful, historic town of Grove City, PA. With a population of about 8,000, Grove City is located 60 miles north of Pittsburgh. Our plant, at 629 West Main Street, is just minutes from the junction of interstates 79 and 80. If you're ever in the area, please consider visiting our retail store, which sells a variety of bulk and brand name candies, as well as our fresh roasted coffee and nuts. Our retail store is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The retail store is closed on Sunday.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or PayPal. For those wishing to pay by check or money order, please place your order over the phone during normal business hours at 800-367-4693, ext. 240. We do not charge a special processing fee for phone-in orders.

WARM WEATHER SHIPMENTS
Please be advised some of our candies are prone to soften or melt in the warm weather months. The George J. Howe Company will not be responsible for melted candy so please consider the weather and your location when ordering from our plant, located in Western Pennsylvania.

SHIPPING POLICY

A shipping fee is added to all orders. We ship packages via the United Parcel Service (UPS) and the United States Postal Service (USPS). The shipping fee, based on the order weight, delivery destination and rush preference of the customer, can be calculated on the Shopping Cart page and/or the Checkout Page. The UPS and USPS real-time rates that are displayed reflect the exact shipping fee that we pay to the freight carrier. In our efforts to give customers the lowest possible total price, we do not use shipping as a profit center. The only time a flat shipping fee is applied to an order is when a full case of candy is purchased. In those cases, a $20 flat shipping fee is added per full case. For customers who order full cases of candy from the following states (CA, OR, WA, MT, ID, NV, UT, AZ, NM, WY), you will be emailed a shipping quote before your order is processed as our cost to ship a full case of candy will exceed $20 to those states. Once you approve the updated shipping cost, your order will be processed promptly.

TOTAL DELIVERY TIME
We process, pack and ship out most orders the same day or next business day. The total number of days that it will take for your package to arrive is determined by your U.S. location.

GIFT ORDERS
Our neatly packed boxes of goodies make perfect gifts. We'll tuck a handwritten gift card inside each box with your personal message. Simply type your note into the "Order Instructions/Comments" section of our on-line order form.

TAX
A 6% sales tax will be added to West Virginia orders. Tax will be added on candy items only for orders shipped to Maryland (5%), New York (6%), New Jersey (7%) and Indiana (7%).

CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Shopping at our web store is safe and secure. Because all orders are processed through a secure (SSL) connection, none of our customers have reported any credit card fraud as a result of placing orders with us. For added security, we do not store your credit card number in our database. Your credit card information will only be used to process the current transaction.
